Exhibition Statement
This series of ceramics explore the use of reclaimed brick, tile and brick cutting sludge collected from 47 Easey Street in 2022. Each ceramic tile or cup holds memory, and expresses the character, of the warehouse’s history.
The material palettes created using these local materials explore what site specific aesthetic may be uncovered through a process-led approach to testing existing materials.
