A wheel-thrown ceramic cup with water-etched detail, created by Georgia Stevenson in her Melbourne studio. Each cup is meticulously detailed by hand and is a highly tactile and sensory object of interest in itself. Perfect for a coffee or vino.
The clay body is stained by hand and the exterior of the cup is exposed and unglazed. Where clay is exposed, a Liquid Quartz Sealer has been applied to aid resistance to stains. The interior of the cup is lined with a simple satin glaze.
Approx. capacity 200ml, 80mm diameter x 62mm high
I recommend hand washing where possible to avoid damage.
Every pot is hand made in Georgia Stevenson’s studio in Melbourne and is one of a kind. All of the glazes used are food safe. Measurements are approximate and colours may vary slightly from photographs.
